How do you handle student data and GDPR?
Data is stored in the EU. A student's CV is parsed for skill data and stored against their account only. We do not share it with employers without the student's action, and we do not use it to train models outside Acelro. We sign a data processing agreement with your institution.
How do you verify students belong to our institution?
Students sign up with their university email and we validate the domain, the same check we run for student pricing. You can also invite a cohort by CSV so enrolment matches your records.
Do we need to integrate with our LMS?
No. Acelro runs in the browser, so there is nothing for IT to install and no LTI setup. A cohort can be live within a week of signing. If LMS integration matters to you long term, tell us on the call.
What reporting does the career centre get?
The cohort dashboard shows aggregated skill gaps, engagement and completion per student, and quiz scores. You see at a glance which skills your cohort is missing for the roles they want, and you can export it for leadership.
Which subject areas does this cover?
Skill requirements come from live job postings and O*NET data covering 1,000+ occupations. That covers business, computing, engineering, design, and most professional tracks, not just software roles.
