1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Acelro, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Acelro is a career development platform that provides personalized skill gap analysis, learning roadmaps, coaching, and project-based learning. The platform uses automated analysis to generate recommendations tailored to your career goals.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and account.
  • You may not create more than one account per person.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Acelro.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
  • Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure.
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code.

5. AI Outputs and How to Report a Problem

Acelro uses AI to generate roadmaps, lessons, coach replies, project reviews, images, and quiz content. These are suggestions. They aren't legal, medical, or financial advice, and they aren't a substitute for professional judgement. You're responsible for what you do with them. Acelro doesn't guarantee that AI outputs are accurate, complete, or up to date.

While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee specific career outcomes, employment, or salary results based on our recommendations. Use your own judgement and, where appropriate, consult qualified professionals.

Reporting a problem with an AI output. If you think an AI output is wrong, biased, or harmful, email founder@acelro.com. A real person reviews every report. We will reply within 14 days for routine reports, and within 5 days for reports that flag potential discrimination or rights harms.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Your content. You retain ownership of all data you upload to Acelro, including CVs, career goals, and project submissions.
  • Our platform. Acelro retains ownership of the platform, its design, generated content structure, and user interface. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the platform.
  • By uploading content, you grant Acelro a limited license to process and analyze your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of Acelro is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

8. Subscription, Billing, and Cancellation

Acelro is in open beta. Paid features are currently free to use and no charges are collected. The terms in this section apply once paid plans become available and you choose to subscribe.

What you pay. You agree to pay the fees and on the billing cadence shown at checkout for the plan you select. Current plans and prices are listed on our pricing page. Fees may vary by region and may change from time to time (see "Price changes" below). Annual plans bill once and renew on the same date each year; monthly plans bill on the same date each month.

How billing works. Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe holds your card details; we do not. Your subscription begins on the day you confirm checkout and renews automatically on the same date each month or year until you cancel.

Cancelling. You can cancel any time from the billing area in your account, or by emailing founder@acelro.com. After you cancel, your paid access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate refunds for unused time outside the cancellation window described below, except where the law requires it.

14-day cancellation right (UK residents). Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from the start of a new subscription to cancel without giving a reason. Because Acelro is a digital service that begins as soon as you subscribe, this means:

  • If you have not used any paid feature inside the 14-day window, email us at the address above and we will refund you in full.
  • If you have used paid features inside the window (for example, a third live lesson, an additional project review, or coach messages above the free-tier limit), you are asking us to begin the service during the cancellation period. We will refund a proportionate amount that reflects the service you have not used.
  • Once the service has been fully performed inside the 14 days at your express request, the cancellation right ends.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. For annual plans, we email you in advance of the renewal date so you can decide whether to continue, switch tier, or cancel. We do not send a separate reminder before each monthly charge.

Failed payments. Stripe retries failed payments according to its standard schedule. If all retries fail, the subscription is cancelled and your account moves to the free tier. The roadmaps, lessons, and project work you have generated stay on your account.

Price changes. If we change the price of a tier you are subscribed to, we will email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The new price applies from your next billing cycle. You can cancel before the change without penalty.

Student plans. If your plan is identified as a student plan at checkout, eligibility, duration, and renewal terms are described on the pricing page. When your student-eligibility period ends, the subscription converts to the standard equivalent tier at the price then shown on the pricing page, unless you cancel first.

Questions about a charge. Email founder@acelro.com and we will reply within five working days.

9. Limitation of Liability

Acelro is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that career outcomes will result from use of the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Acelro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the platform. Your continued use of Acelro after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
